How to deal with car tire slippage

Home / News / How to deal with car tire slippage
It is the bearing base of the car's driving movement, and it is very important for the car, especially in the case of high-speed driving. If there are problems such as tire slippage, it will seriously cause the vehicle to lose its direction and cause a major traffic accident.
Causes of tire slip
1. Tire wear
There are patterns on the surface of car tires to increase the grip of the tires. During the long-term driving of the car, the pattern on the tire surface will gradually wear out due to ground friction. With severe wear and tear, the grip of the car will be severely reduced, resulting in skids and delayed braking.
2. The tire groove is blocked
There are many grooves on the tire pattern of the car, which increases the friction between the tire and the ground. If the grooves become clogged with sand, stones and other items, the tires will slip.
3. Abnormal tire pressure
There is a standard value for tire pressure. Once the tire pressure is abnormal, such as the tire pressure is too high, the contact area between the tire and the ground will be reduced, which is also a factor of tire slippage.
What if the car skids?
The first point of car skid is to keep calm and don't panic. Then adjust the steering wheel according to the slippage.
After the front wheel slips, turn the steering wheel to make the front wheel turn forward, so that the other car bodies are in the same direction, and then control it step by step.
Be aware of rear wheel slippage. Don't hit the brakes too hard. It is easy to cause a rollover accident.
Four-wheel skidding requires the front wheels to find grip first, then close the accelerator, step on the clutch lightly, the direction of the car is gradually turned back, and drive slowly until there is no slip.
How to prevent tires from slipping?
1. Install snow chains.
Much of the reason a car skids is due to reduced friction. Installing anti-skid chains on the car can effectively increase the friction between the tires and the ground, thereby avoiding the occurrence of tire slippage, and is mostly used in situations such as icy ground and snow accumulation.
2. Check the tires in time
In daily car maintenance, it is necessary to observe the wear of the tires in time, and then adjust and maintain them according to their conditions.
